As an international aid organization that is governed by the Canada Revenue Agency, we abide by all reporting and regulatory requirements. We value transparency and integrity in all our work and provide regular updates and reports to our supporters on our projects and their donations.
The allegations being made are simply untrue and it is nothing but a smear campaign to discredit the work of Islamic Relief Canada.
We reject attempts being made to undermine our work and the harassment and slander of our staff and partners. These allegations and slander of our staff and partners seek to sow discord and suspicion and are not in line with our organization’s values. We will be seeking legal counsel on how to proceed.
