Without proper protection, the harsh Canadian winter can be a critical threat to those in vulnerable conditions.
This winter, Islamic Relief Canada works to provide warmth and dignity to those in need regardless of gender, race or religion. We are here to serve the most vulnerable with dignity, by providing warm clothing, hot meals, and basic necessities.
With one donation, you can kindle your kindness and help save a life.
Volunteer today.
As the temperatures continue to plunge dangerously, our efforts will be focused this year in 28 cities and regions across Canada – including Halifax, Montreal, Quebec, Ottawa, GTA, Durham, Peel, Hamilton, London, Guelph, Peterborough, Windsor, St. Thomas, Winnipeg, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Regina, Saskatoon, Vancouver, Surrey, Prince George, Kelowna, Abbotsford, Victoria, and Yellowknife.
Winter care kits are being built and distributed to the homeless, those without proper protection or shelter, and families in need. They include warm clothing, living essentials, and hygiene supplies to protect against Covid-19.
Our teams will also be providing hot meals to the homeless through soup kitchens across the countries.
This winter, Islamic Relief Canada is giving warmth, right here at home. You can be part of the action!
