Join Islamic Relief Canada on an epic multi-day hiking, biking, and horseback riding adventure through Jordan, as you challenge your limits!

Immerse yourself in the landscapes and adventures of Jordan. Grab a good pair of hiking shoes and wander through the mesmerizing desert of Jordan, from Petra to Wadi Rum.

Between November 4 – 12, you will get the full experience of exploring through Jordan, as our itinerary will be jam packed with hiking, biking, and horseback riding all to support vulnerable Syrian Refugees living within Jordan. Be prepared for a trip of a lifetime!

Through the Jordan Challenge, you will visit Islamic Relief projects in Jordan focusing on providing Syrian refugees with Shelter, Education and Protection Services. You will also have the chance to meet the team on the ground, and learn how your support is making an impact directly from those who are benefiting from orphans, to widows to many more. From this experience, you will have a wider understanding of how Islamic Relief operates and become an expert on the cause you will be supporting! 

All participants will receive an email with a link to their personal crowdfunding page. Your goal is to raise $3,500!

Our teams will get in touch with you within 5 business days after signing up and provide you with tips and tools on how to kick-start your crowdfunding journey!

All money raised by participants will go directly towards our Syria Appeal.

What will Islamic Relief Canada cover?

• Visa
• Transportation within Jordan, including to/from airport in Amman
• 7 night accommodation
• 3 meals/day, except arrival/departure days (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
• Rentals: bicycle, jeep tour, horseback riding, other means of transportation within Jordan
• Entrance fees for sites/parks

What will I (you) have to cover?

• Transportation to/from Jordan (Flight + Baggage expenses)
• Selected meals on arrival/departure dates
• Snacks outside of meals
• Souvenir/Gift Shopping
• Personal Expenses
• Medical Expenses (travel Insurance is required)
• Hiking Equipment (boots, poles)
• All other expenses outside of Islamic Relief Canada’s Jordan Challenge (extra tours, stays, transportation, meals)

*Please note that all activities are pre-planned, but may be subject to change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.

Sign Up Eligibility

• Age: 18 years or older
• Vaccination Status: Double Vaccinated
• Physically fit (able to bike, and hike long hours)
• No serious medical/health conditions that could affect the well-being (ie. physical injuries, heart condition, pregnancy) *Consult with your doctor prior to signing up
• All participants must raise 75% of fundraising goal ($3,500) prior to November 2nd, 2022

Refund Policy

• Refund requests for deposit payments will be accepted until October 3, 2022
• Deposit payments will be refunded
• After October 3, 2022 deposit payments are non-refundable
